Tuesday's Trigger for the Font Fanatic

So many of us paper crafters are also font fanatics.  So, the font fanatic in me loved this weeks Tuesday Trigger:  Soup to Nuts at Moxie Fab World..  Below is the TT picture and my card is above.

So, I took a few minutes to raid my sticker stash and make up a thank you card.  The swirl is actually a negative shape that I saved from a Cricut cut.  I am such a paper horder!  I bit of zipper trim and some scraps of paper to get the Soup to Nuts look and my thank you is finished.  Thanks Moxie Fab World!

Sympathy Card with Heartfelt Creations

I really liked stamping around the cog with the Heartfelt Creations stamps.  So, I tried another today for a sympathy card.  This time I used Bella Rosebud Pre Cut Set and some Copic Markers.  The center medallion is made with Basic Grey and Candy Bonbon Stickers. By the way if you don't have a Cricut or other digital cutter you can use your Dominos train gear!  To create the label, I placed a die cut over the card and colored around it with Copics, a bit of marker top stitching and an Angel Company sentiment.

Think About it Thursday: Jars of Joy Challenge

I have out grown my current ribbon storage and was looking for an in expensive storage option.  I came across it in my pantry:  an Archer Farm's Nut Jar.  So, I pulled out some paper by The Robin's Nest and stamps from Heartfelt Creations and started to reorganize my stash.  And just before I wrote this post, I checked Moxie Fab World for the lastest Tuesday Trigger and I found they have a Jar's of Joy Challenge.  It is not actually a Tuesday Trigger, but how excited was I that it fit my current project!?
Here are some of the detail pictures.

The leaves are from some vintage custom jewelry and the pacifier is from shower favors (from my baby shower so I had to save one and use it!)  And yes, it has been in the stash for 14 years.  The letters are Thicker and match the grey top for the jar perfectly!

Work the Stash Wednesday: More Coffee Filter Ideas

I love to share an item made with older items in my stash on Wednesdays.  So, today I am sharing a page I made a while ago for the last Heartfelt Creations Design Team (semifinals).  The paper is K & Company and all the stamps are Heartfelt Creations.  I stamped on my coffee filters and then colored them with Copic markers and then placed them around the inside of my circle frame.  Kind of looks like fabric, doesn't it?  More felt from the stash, and stamped with a glue pad and Heartfelt Creations stamps, a bit of Art Glitter and some seed pearls.  And another item from my stash was the Christmas foil garland.  I just zig zagged it onto the page.  The swirls are cut with Sure Cuts a Lot.

Try it Tuesday: Vintage Wallpaper

Last month I had a chance to attend my first crop hosted by It's Always Fabulous on Etsy and loved it!  She actually has a shop set up in her basement so we could shop and crop.  She had a freebie for all of...some vintage wall paper in white on white she picked up at an estate sale and showed us how to use the Dylusions Ink Spray (by Ranger) on the wall paper for a glamorous look.  I just had to give it a try and made up a little notebook for my purse.

Repetition in the Round with Moxie

I have been missing in action, busy creating projects to try out for Heartfelt Creations Design Team.  I just had to share one of the pages I created for the DT application as I think the idea is a fabulous way to save money and it fits Moxie Fab Worlds Card Design Handbook The Repetition Challenge!  So, let's get started!
I love the Inkadinkadoo Stamping Gear and stamps, but it is not currently in the budget.  It will have to go on the Christmas wish list!  But in the meantime, I realized I can use my Cricut to cut a cog shape (brown card stock in the picture) and my current blocks with Heartfelt Creation stamps to get the same results.  I cut this cog at 5 1/2"  and used Heartfelt Creations Elegant Snowflake Medallions Pre-Cut Set.  I placed my stamp at the edge of block centering it.
