More I Top Ideas! The finishing details!

Played with my I top again this weekend. This time, I made a cover for the Cricut Jukebox, and wanted to have the perfect touch of the end of my drawstrings. So, used the steps below:
1) Fussy cut your fabric. See the second picture for the fussy cut fabric.
2) Place glue dot on the top of a Dritz button using the same button size as one of your I Top brads. Make sure the button top is the same shape as the I top brad shape (Dritz has two styles).
3) Center fabric on the button and place in the I top as you would your brad cover
4) Remove the shank from your Dritz button back using pliers. You can do this on some of the I top brads, but some of them are not easily removed. The first picture shows the button with shank, the second photo has the button back with no shank.
5) Place glue dot on the end of your ribbon pull string and attach it the inside of the back button piece
6) Place the button back on the I top as you would the brad back and assemble as you would the brads from I top.
7) To finish the back of the button, place a piece of bling with a glue dot.
Another beautiful I top creation! See third picture.
And the last picture, the Jukebox Cover. Can you tell that I love to embellish and hate to dust?

SU? I'll Cover you too! Just made a custom Big Shot cover...

Just made a custom Big Shot Cover for a Cricut Forum member. She saw my Jukebox and asked if I could make a Big Shot cover. She made the mistake of saying that she didn't know how anyone could cove the machine without making it look like Pajamas. It then became a challenge to me. How could a make a cover and still keep a purse like look? Well I thought on it awhile and remembered the Longabarger basket purses and my plan was made. How though to work out that big handle?! Then it hit me! The big oversize grommets that are so big right now at Tammy Tadd. I will be using this to remake my Cuttlebug cover, as I am not happy enough with that one.
I pleated the ruffle at the top this time. Love that look, and then made an inside lining drawstring bag. Once again, leaving it optional to access your machines handle with the cover on. Please feel free to leave your comments!

A Year to Share! My first year of Cricut Covers in photos

Just thought I would share all of the Cricut dust covers I made this year. I loved making all of them and hope to make more! You can still find some of the ones pictured at my Etsy store! Some are gone to happy homes, but were so pretty I thought you might like to see! Double click on the photo to get a larger view. The Jukebox covers are sideways, but I didn't know how to get the thumbnail without turning the photos.
I will see about a scrapbag post another day...

New Jukebox Cover Available!

I am so excited to have found the time to make the pattern I had in mind for the Cricut Jukebox! I was once again inspired by a Tammy Tadd bag called Girly Girl. I saw some of my competitors covers on the Cricut website and I felt mine would be more fashionable! Also, I like being able to access the handles on my machine's even if they are covered. I think this is a big plus for all of my Cricut Machine covers!
Oh, and who can resist the Pom-Pom trim!? I have been looking at it for a long time, and knew a ruffle would be too big for this cover. So, I took a clue from Tammy and used it at the bottom piecing seam.
Since this is a new product for me, I would love your comments! Wouldn't it be fun to have both covers?!
