#TrendyTuesday: Accessorize the Shirtdress

Last Trendy Tuesday I covered my favorite shirt dress trends.  This Tuesday, I want to talk about accessorizing the shirt dress to make it your own look.  Here are some great tips to make any wardrobe staple your own, including the shirt dress:
1)  Add a statement accessory!  Above, the fringe belt with fringe that covers just a bit of the front and the back is a great way to make a shirt dress your own look.  You can find the fringe belt look here.  And here are some views from the site with how it looks on.

#StyleTheSale Sunday Maternity Dress

Today's Style the Sale look is a maternity look.  You want to look your best, even when expecting!  If spending money on maternity clothes is difficult to justify, consider adding one or two piece that are maternity and finishing with your regular pieces.  For example, a dress is always a great value!  This one is on SALE for $55.03 and can be found here.  Add the blazer in regular sizes, so you can wear it after baby arrives!  Shop the sales and consider reselling your maternity items afterward at a consignment shop or on Ebay.  You can spend a little more to look your best if you stick to key pieces and resell them later.  And if you are considering more children, keep the items to wear again!

If you're like me, you want to have the closet essential that has a bit more individuality along with timeless style.  So today, I am sharing a trend I love for the shirt dress this season:  the long or maxi shirt dress!  I love this Theory shirt dress with the empire waist, and waterfall hem and long length!  You can find it here.     This dress is perfect for giving you a waistline and has a fabulous collar!  Try styling it with other classic casual pieces like the denim jacket and great Espadrilles.

#TrendyTuesday: Spring Denim Jacket Trends
