Christmas Bells Page with Anna Griffin and Cricut

I have had the Anna's Christmas Cards and Embellishments Cartridge for awhile, but am just getting around to using it and I can't get over how beautiful this page looks!  I used all Anna Griffin paper except for the grey and white card stock.  The French Horn is Stampin' Up, the Flute is Creative Embellishements.  The rosette and printed dies are also Anna Griffin.  I used some scrap ribbon to matt the photo as my ribbon stash is out growning it's storage.
I am going to enter this in the BittenByTheBug Challenge from December 7, 2020.  I managed to include the Thing 1 and Thing 2 Challenge, and maybe Thing 3.  I was confused by Thing 3.

When Your Cricut Cut Is Beautiful but not Right for The Project

Every once and a while I cut something with my Cricut and decide the color or scale is wrong after I cut it.  Often, these cuts, are just too pretty to recycle and so, I save them for another project.  They then become part of the stash, neglected and forgotten. Today, I am sharing how I challenged myself to use a doily I cut instead of consigning it to the stash.  I tried a new strategy of doodling, so I am entering it in the Bitten by the Bug Challenge "Something New."  Here is how I took a drab cut to fab cut!

I cut this red card stock with an Anna Griffin cartridge and found the color wasn't right for the page I was working on.  I thought the red a bit dull and wanted to make it more glamorous.  So, I doodled some trellis like lines (inspired by the layer that should have gone on top) with a glitter pen and added some Stickles to make this mis-cut a one of a kind piece.

Here is a close up of the title cut with Anna's Christmas Kitsch.

Below is a look at the red die cut before I embellished it.  So drab, that I decided to try and add glamour like Anna would.  I LOVE Anna Griffin Double Sided Foil Paper, when it's used in a tone on tone look!  I can't stop using this paper!  Kudos to Anna Griffin for providing professional materials along with her professional tools!

A Valentine's Day Baby Card

A co worker had a baby on Valentine's day and I needed a card.  I am currently obsessing over easel cards, so I pulled out the Cricut DS and Anna Griffin paper and made a card.  I am going to share this for the Bitten by the Bug 2 Valentine's Hearts challenge because he was born on Valentine's day!

You can find the Cricut DS file if you like here.  You will need Reminisce Accents, New Arrivals, Anna's Lace Cards, Close to my Heart Flower Market, and Lacy Labels and a printer.  You will need a scoring wheel or just remove the dashed line in the card base.

To assemble the card, fold the top portion of the card base in half across the top, along the scored line, matching right side of the paper to right side of the paper.  Add stork layer and light blue layer on top of dark blue layer.  Add to the green circle and glue the top half of the green circle to the top of the card base, matching wrong side of the card base to the wrong side of the green circle.

Christmas in July Challenge

I still have Christmas card photos to scrapbook, so I was so excited to see that Bitten by the Bug 2 had a Christmas in July Challenge!  I pulled out my Anna Griffin paper, for the background and my Anna Griffin Cricut Cartridges for the cuts, a few extra embellishments left over from Anna's Christmas card kit and the page is done!  Thanks BBTB2 and Anna Griffin!

I used antique gold embossing powder along the edges.  Cartridges are Anna's Christmas Card and Embellishments for the red swirls, and Anna's Winter Wonderland for the Believe.  Just 2 hours left in the challenge, and a page is done.
