Another Paper Doll with Anna Griffin and BoBunny

I have been stalking Anna Griffin's Facebook Page this month to see all the beautiful projects and hopefully win a grab bag item.  Each day she asks her followers to share what they have been making with the theme of the day.  I really wanted to share on 3-24-17 when she asked us to share our most amazing paper project, but my project wasn't finished.  So, I was motivated to finish my latest paper doll project made with a Harumika Style Starter Set dress form, Bo Bunny Paper and Anna Griffins Paper Tricks Embossing Folders.  Anna's Paper Tricks embossing folders were inspired by dress maker details, so why not make a paper dress?  The Harumika Dress form has a seam in the back for tucking in fabric and I wanted to cover the seam, so I pulled out a butterfly from one of Anna's card kits, added a Dew Drop from The Robbin's Nest, and colored the butterfly with some markers to pull together the color scheme of blue, green and yellow.

I started with Bo Bunny's Secret Garden Trellis because my craft room is blue and white with touches of Cricut green.  I have been obsessed with blue and white since child hood and wanted this color combo in my craft room.  I used my Cricut to a circle for the skirt at 11 1/2" and then cut out a portion of the circle from 12 o'clock to 2:00 o'clock with a center circle to fit over the dolls waist.

I made the pleated hem with Anna's Fancy Folded Rosette embossing folder, and the blue jabot at the center back of the skirt was made with Anna's Fancy Folded Banner and Corner folder (just half).  I cut the bodice from the scraps of the circle, and embellished it with rolled roses from MFT, Anna's card kit butterfly, CTMH bling, The Robin's Nest Dew Drop and Eyelet Outlet Jewels.

I am entering this is the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blogs Anything Goes challenge #297.  I love using my Cricut for getting professional results in my cutting projects and this time I used it to cut a perfect circular skirt!  I am also entering the Cut It Up Challenge #118:  You've Got Me in Stitches.  I used a gathering stitch to help me evenly place my accordion folded ruffle around the them of the skirt.  My cutting die used was the MFT Rolled Roses Die.
