Cricut as a Stencil Challenge Entry

I have always been intrigued by the idea of using a Cricut cut as a stencil and needed a couple of cards this week.  I decided to try the Bitten By the Bug 2 Cricut as a Stencil Challenge this week.  I was inspired by a card I found using distressed markers and decided to try this look with my Cricut and Art Glitter.  Be sure to check out the fabulous inspiration card because I couldn't copy the photo to paste it here and it is so fabulous!

To get this look, I placed the Art Glitter Sticky paper on the Cricut mat with the red printed side up.  Setting the pressure at a three I cut my lattice.  This lattice was created with a border from Paper Lace that was welded in CCR.

Begin removing the rows of color one at a time using a pin and sprinkling each color in the order of the rainbow.  See my photos below.  Once the colors are in place, remove the lattice stencil and apply the Crystal glitter.  I glued the Dew Drops using Liquid Glass
Once I was done with the rainbow look I wanted to pull the eye to the sentiment.  So, I surrounded the sentiment with a diamond shape created with Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest.  What sparkle and shine!  Hope this cheers up my friend!
