Fun with Scissors Lace Paper to Share
Oh no! I have done it again, talked my self into adding another cartridge to the wish list. This time is is Wall Decor. Some times I think that Provo Craft has the best free advertising in the business, the Gypsy and DS content upgrades. In fact, I went to upload this lace this morning and there is a new content upgrade for my Gypsy. Could be a dangerous week for the pocket book!
So, if you like this lace paper, you will need the Plantin Schoolbook and Wall Decor carts. HERE is the file. Please drop me a note if you download and let me know your visiting. Thanks! This file is in the Gypsy format, and can be converted to DS, but will need some burping. I am off to CHA today to crop and shop!

Another Lace Paper with Scalloped Edge
Well, while looking through the new cartridges on my wish list, I found another lace paper. I added a scalloped edge to it and I am sharing the cut file. I cannot cut it though, as I do NOT own the Lovely Floral. You will need Plantin Schoolbook and Lovely Floral. HERE is the cut file in Gypsy format. Below is a page idea (actually made with another cut file using Mothers day), but you could use todays cut file and some flowers to get this look.
If you came from the Cricut MB, this is the corrected file. Thanks!

Basic Grey Stitching Challenge
I have discovered a new challenge blog, I wanted to try: Basic Grey Challenges Blog. First, it has BG, which I love and then the prizes are from Simon Says Stamps, which I love and have ordered from before. The challenge this time is stitching. Also, it gave me an excuse to know off another file from a cartridge I cannot afford now, Lovely Floral:
HERE is the Cut file. You will need Home Decor and Mothers Day for this cut file.If you care for this enough to download, I would love your comments!
Below is a close up of the stitching. I wanted to make a zig zag that hit the peaks and valleys of my scalloped circle. To get this look, I hand poked my holes, and hand stitched the thread. I know, you are thinking I have too much time on my hands, but it relaxes me to stitch a small project.
I used a stamp set by Inkadinkadoo called Personalized Expressions, Thank You. The paper is Basic Grey Fusion, the white lace trim is from my cut file in a previous post and is a knock of a BG trim.

My Most Popular SVG now in DS format!
While looking through the Picturesque cartridge in Design Studio, I realized that I could now make my most popular SVG file in a format for my DS and Gypsy friends. So, if you like this cut file you will need Picturesque: which PC is offering at a discounted price for a limited time, and good old George! Sorry to enable! I will not be cutting this one again, as I have already scrapped with it, but you will see the screen capture above of the cut file and a finished photo frame below for inspiration. Find the DS cut file HERE.
Find the Gypsy cut file HERE. And if you are looking for a SCAL version, please check this post here: http://cricutcraftyclare.blogspot.com/2009/11/fancy-circle-scal-2-version-cut-file-to.html
Cindy Loo Knock off with Home Decor
I keep looking at the Cindy Loo Cartridge, but it is not in the budget. So, this last week while on vacation, it occured to me, that maybe I could design my own cut file like one of the Cindy Loo Cuts I love. So, I took a look at the cartridges I have and came up with my version made with Home Decor, George and Straight from the Nest. You can find the cut file HERE. The file is Gypsy format. I tried to make a DS version, but the inside welding is not working. Please leave me a comment if you download the file! Thanks!

The Color of Food!
Why is it every time I try and write a description for my latest Etsy item, the colors in the description are all food related? Is it just me? Perhaps, I was hungry. For example, in the cover above, I would describe the pink as watermelon, the brown as chocolate, and the green as lime. There is even a second pink in this fabric, I would call bubblegum.
I just finished these two items for a customer in Singapore. I am calling this an Etsy milestone, my first order to a country where the native language is not my own, in fact the alphabet is different too! So far, I have had orders from the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Now, if I could just make a treasury or the front page, what a happy girl I would be! Below, is a picture of the matching Cuttlebug cover. Here's hoping you find some time to enjoy some watermelon this summer!
